About the EveryMemory blog
Practical, non-medical guides and exercises to support memory and focus - written to be genuinely useful for adults 55+ and the families helping them.
Our mission
EveryMemory is a memory and brain-training app by Cleanor. This blog exists to make everyday memory less mysterious and less worrying - with calm explanations, simple exercises, and tools you can use today, at any age.
What we are - and what we're not
We write about memory wellness: how memory and attention work, practical techniques, daily routines, and how to support a loved one. We are non-medical. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure anything, and we don't make claims about preventing dementia or Alzheimer's. We use plain, honest language - "support memory", "practice recall", "build a routine", "track your own patterns" - and we say clearly when something is worth discussing with a qualified professional.
How we research and write
- Useful first. Every article answers a real question and includes something you can actually do - an exercise, a checklist, or a simple routine.
- Grounded in research. Where we describe what the science says, we keep it modest and link to the original studies and reputable organisations in our Library (NIA, the CDC, the Alzheimer's Association, Harvard Health, and peer-reviewed journals).
- Calm and honest. No fear, no hype, no "miracle cure" promises. When the evidence is mixed - as it is for brain games - we say so.
- Reviewed for accuracy and tone before publishing, and refreshed over time as needed.
Who writes this
Articles are written and edited by the EveryMemory editorial team. We work to a non-medical wellness standard - plain language, modest claims, and sources you can check in our Library. For clinical questions we always point readers to a qualified healthcare professional rather than offering an opinion.
A note on medical advice
This blog is for general education and wellness only. If you notice sudden, rapid, severe, or daily-life-disrupting memory changes, please speak with a qualified healthcare professional. See our full medical disclaimer.
